Interpretation from Architecture to UX

DISCUSSION & DISPLAY METHODOLOGY

Website
The web is like a container when we sit on the particular objects we wish to highlight. To explore the website with a mindset as a user, or design it as a builder, we can shift our feeling for the project and move our focus from the installation details and the whole situation narrative in a paging set.

CMS database(Things)
A collection is like a database — it's where content can be stored and referenced throughout a project dynamically. In our design, it represents the objects we wanna exchange with, and how we categorize and link them to our main structure.

Section(Partition)
A section is a layout element with a width of 100% that extends across the full width of the browser window. Sections play an important role in the structure and layout of a page. Sections let you create separate blocks of content and divide the page into meaningful segments. In our design, section is the functional unit that composes of each infrastructure, and it symbols different partitions and provide different functional combination.

Page(Systems)
From the Pages panel, you can manage your page’s general information, SEO, page URLs, and other settings. There are four types of pages: static pages, folders, dynamic pages and utility pages. As we have addressed five functional units in our design, we could regard the Storage function as the static page; Rental as dynamic page; Display as folder wholeSale/Exchange as utility page.

Navigator(Structure)
The Navigator displays the content of the current page in the Designer in a hierarchical tree structure. It allows you to select any element on a given page, including elements that might be hard to select on the canvas. The structure of our project is the visibility/sign system that guides our users to find their objects and arise curiosity by giving different functional unit a unique characteristic.

Style(Façade)
The style is to customize the form elements-such as removing the input field borders, changing the background color, etc…we can customize and style the file upload button in its various states as well. And we could divide our styling forms in the website design into four categories: typography, states, the focus state of form fields, using columns to quickly layout form elements. The typography means we could have a state of visibility to apply for the objects; while the states mean the service we provide after using our facility; Meanwhile, the focus state of form fields is like when we wish to interact without object, what reaction or interaction we hope to have at the moment; Finally the columns used to quickly layout a form-like elements would be a grid set on the ground we hope for guild people or adding some extra greenland as a co-habitants for non-human users.

Scope Of Work

We used GIS network analysis methods to calculate the people's accessibility to urban recycling system based on the point of address and point of facilities.

We found most of the residential area shows higher accessibility since most of the recycling facilities are located near the residential area. But in the city center residents are not accessible to recycling facilities when walking within 500M since there are no recycling facilities located in the center area.
